The inaugural gathering witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, investors, dedicated supporters, and enthusiastic employees, as Beond proudly showcased its first Airbus A319. This luxurious aircraft, featuring an all lay-flat seating configuration for 44 passengers, embodies the epitome of travel comfort.

Beond's inaugural flights are set to commence in November 2023, with Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich as the first destinations on the list. Prior to the official launch, early bird customers have already chartered the aircraft, eager to experience the magic of the Maldives.


Max Nilov, Chief Strategy Officer and primary founder of Beond, expressed his profound fulfillment, describing this moment as the realization of a long-cherished dream. Beond aims to offer a premium travel experience combined with an unparalleled operating philosophy.

Sascha Feuerherd, Chief Commercial Officer of Beond, highlighted the overwhelmingly positive response from customers and stakeholders in their launch cities and anticipates further interest from new destinations on their route map.


Beond's fleet will comprise state-of-the-art Airbus A320-family aircraft configured with unique luxury, lay-flat seating, connecting passengers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific to the Maldives. The first Beond aircraft will be showcased at the Dubai Air Show in mid-November, with additional Airbus aircraft set to join the fleet in late 2023 and early 2024.

Remarkably, Beond is already leaving a positive footprint in the Maldives, with over 75 employees in place even before commencing operations. The airline anticipates hiring 1,600 pilots and cabin crew members, further contributing to the local economy.
